Members of Parliament (MPs) will receive a presentation on relationship between the Advisory Council and Parliament by a delegation from Council of State of The Netherlands in a public Central Committee meeting on Tuesday, November 13, in Parliament House starting at 10:00am.
The delegation will comprise Marten Oosting, Arnoldus Weggeman and Ron van der Veer of the Council of State. Minister of Public Housing, Spatial Development, Environment and Infrastructure VROMI William Marlin will give information about maintenance and zoning to MPs on Monday, November 19, starting at 10:00am. The United People’s (UP) party requested the meeting.
A plenary session of parliament will be held on Wednesday, November 21, starting at 2:00pm to deal with the draft changes to the National Ordinance on the Voluntary Corps of St. Maarten VKS (1997), and changes of the Stamp Ordinance (1994) for the introduction of a new national identification card and driver’s license. Prime Minister/Minister of General Affairs Sarah Wescot- Williams and Finance Minister Roland Tuitt are to be present for the November 21 session.
